About admin

I've been fascinated by world cultures all my life. I tried to teach myself Spanish at age 9, but that didn't work so well. I voraciously read books on all areas of the world as a teenager. I grew up to study languages and cultures in college, and have travelled in over 50 countries exploring what is unique and essential to each culture.

Have you left India for the Baltics?

    • admin says:

Yes, I left India on Jan. 1 for 2 weeks in the Baltics. I’m in Lithuania now, and will be returning to south Asia (Bangladesh, then northern India) for 2 more weeks in 4 days.

I wanted a complete change from India, and somewhere I hadn’t been before, that 2 weeks would be sufficient time to see a bit, and that didn’t require a visa(s).
